Adobe Acrobat Connect Professional

Adobe Acrobat Connect is a Flash based technology used to create presentations, online training materials, web conferencing, learning modules, and desktop sharing. The material may be viewed live or recorded for viewing at a later time. Adobe Connect works on most operating systems that have Flash installed. The DCM&B uses Connect to broadcast and record the NCIBI Tools and Technology Series and the Bioinformatics Seminar Series. Room 2036 in Palmer Commons is setup to provide audio and video capabilities for up to 20 people. Mobile equipment is available for setup in various rooms in Palmer Commons and at other sites.
